I do quilting for other folk and Juliet asked me to do this one for her, it is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I have to admit I did not know this story but checked it out and it seemed a fun quilt to do. When it arrived I thought – crikey that IS bright – but once I got going on the quilting I had great fun with it. Juliet had requested I put a few butterflies on it somewhere. Her wish was my command. I did the quilting round the borders with the view to little fingers following the wiggly lines to see where the caterpillar goes next. The quilt has gone back to Juliet who likes it very much I am pleased to say. Phew! I have loaded the pictures – finally – first you see the front then the back view – enjoy…

    • Janice I have been very lucky with quilts I have three here now waiting to be done, people understand that I don’t do them in a day, which is just as well, I like to give them all my full concentration and cannot rush the quilting. Glad you have some sock orders too. jan x
